6 of us will be cycling 270 miles over three days alongside colleagues from the Department for Education, their professional services providers and other framework contractors to raise funds for The Talent Foundry, a charity dedicated to empowering underserved schools across the UK by offering fully funded opportunities. They're making a profound impact on the lives of countless young people.

The challenge is taking place in Central Europe, from the Danish capital, Copenhagen, through Nykobing Falster, Ganzin, and onwards to the German capital, Berlin.

We are passionate about this incredible charity because of their relentless efforts in increasing social mobility. The Talent Foundry focuses on empowering young people from underserved backgrounds to discover what they are amazing at, develop invaluable employment skills, and take that crucial first step into the world of work.

They do this because in the UK, parental income remains the single strongest indicator of educational attainment.
