Story
A Magenta team is stepping away from our cosy office and the comfort zone behind our laptops to sleep on the streets of Brighton for a night. In December. It is going to give us a tiny glimpse into the challenges young people face when sleeping rough. It’s going to be a challenge. We’re going to be right down on the seafront. It will be very cold.
Why are we doing it? Well at Magenta, we are passionate about supporting initiatives that make a real difference in our local community. The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in day centre for 16-to-25 year olds experiencing homelessness in Brighton. It provides vital practical and emotional support so that young people can reach their potential and help break the cycle of homelessness.
So please, think about just how cold the Brighton seafront is in December, and help us to help the Clock Tower Sanctuary.
