Story
AT THE YOUNG AGE OF 12 HOLLY WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A RARE & AGGRESSIVE CHILDHOOD CANCER KNOWN AS RHABDOMYSOSAARCOMA
Holly was admitted in to hospital and for the the first 7 weeks she was unable to leave and whilst in hospital Holly turned 13.
Holly started to respond to the intensive chemotherapy and was battling hard with the support of her family and friends.
When Holly was able to return home her life became ALL about hospital appointments, scans, blood tests, chemotherapy treatments followed by radiotherapy treatments.
Momentum Children's Charity have helped Holly to go away for short breaks & outings during her many treatments, this made Holly feel normal, happy and helped her to start to enjoy herself.
After 7 months of intensive treatment Holly still has a small percentage of cancer. This will be treated with maintenance chemotherapy for the next 12 months.
As her Dad I wanted to do something to say thank you.
