On 4th April 2025 Team Elston (Dad, Joe, Dan and Tom) will be sleeping on the cobbles of St Johns Square in Blackpool Town Centre to raise awareness about youth homelessness and much needed funds to support the small local charity Streetlife.

Last year Streetlife supported over 300 vulnerable, and often homeless young people via their 8 bed emergency night shelter and welcoming day centre. Over the last 2 years average occupancy at the night shelter has risen significantly, proving that this lifeline is still very much needed. They run the only emergency night shelter in Blackpool for young people aged 16-25 who may find themselves with nowhere safe to sleep.

Whilst giving up our beds for one night will only be a small glimpse into the trauma of homelessness, we are hoping that our efforts in braving all of the Blackpool weather will raise lots of money to ensure a young person in need does not have to do the same. We have supported the amazing work of Streetlife for quite a few years now and have done quite a few Sleepouts (although its Tom's first time now he is old enough).
