Story
In June, Team DP9 (Alex Milne, Natalie Render, Becky Hampson, Eleanor Hulm and Rebecca Neil) will be participating in pedElle 2023, a charity cycle ride for women in the real estate industry. Taking place in Slovenia, the route covers 400km (280 miles) of hilly terrain and involves nearly 6,000 metres of climbing!
Starting from the capital Ljubljana, we will head north west to Lake Bled for our first overnight stay. On the second day, we will be really testing our climbing legs with almost 2,500 metres of elevation, before descending into Lipica for our second stop. Our final day will take us west towards the Adriatic coast and the beautiful medieval town of Piran, where the event finishes.
We will be raising money for Club Peloton, which supports the vital work of a range of charities, including the main beneficiary Coram, which helps hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people each year by providing services to children in need. The money raised will also help support the charitable work of Cyclists Fighting Cancer, who help children and young people living with cancer regain physical fitness, strength, mental wellness and confidence through sport; the Multiple System Atrophy Trust, which supports people with a rare neurological condition with no current known cure or cause; and Tom's Trust, which provides support for children with brain tumours and their families.
We are training very hard for this event and would be grateful for any sponsorship - large or small - to help us reach our ambitious fundraising target.
Thank you for your support!
