Story

The Curran siblings - Gwen, (in Australia), Pauline, Louise, Scott & Michelle are all on a mission again to raise funds for charity.

We are planning to all run/walk/cycle 60k each throughout the month of February for Carers of East Lothian, (CoEL) which is the Love Your Business networking club charity partner this year.

Every year a charity partner is supported, last year it was Fighting Against Cancer Edinburgh, FACE.

Last year we raised £1791.63 in total for FACE from our February Challenge and from 10% of ticket sales from Love Your Business monthly networking events.

This year we're really excited to do it again for Carers of East Lothian (CoEL).

The charity, which was founded in 1996, focuses on supporting carers so that they can continue to care for family members or friends.

They provide anything from a bit of practical advice when needed, through to much more support for carers who are struggling to cope with the physical and emotional demands of caring for someone on a full time basis.

Services offered for carers also include counselling and legal advice, and they host lots of regular workshops and events.

There are many organisations which provide help for carers across Scotland, including VOCAL Edinburgh Carers Hub and Carers of West Lothian.
