Royal Parks Half Marathon - October 2024

We are a team of family & friends, runners if you will, taking on the London Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 13th, 2024, all in support of the Brompton Fountain charity. This cause is particularly close to our hearts for one special reason: Ayrton Brenkley, son of Richard and Lisa Brenkley.

Team Ayrton: Rich & Lisa Brenkley, Matt Lench & Bethany Davis, Paul Allen, Alex & Louise Wright, Ad & Nikita Brotherwood, and Dave & Lara Wenn.

In July 2023, Ayrton underwent, successfully, critical open-heart surgery at the Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea. During this challenging time, the Brompton Fountain charity provided invaluable support to Richard, Lisa, and Ayrton.

The Brompton Fountain plays a vital role in the lives of seriously ill children at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. They offer a wide range of resources and services to support both the children and their families, as well as funding essential medical equipment and improvements to the hospital facilities.

We are running this half marathon in Ayrton's honor and to show our gratitude for the incredible work of the Brompton Fountain. Every donation, big or small, will help them continue to make a difference in the lives of these brave children and their families.

Please donate what you can and help us reach our fundraising goal!
