Story

I am running the Sydney Marathon 2025 to raise money for Spinal Research!

Spinal cord injuries are can be very debilitating and limiting. Unfortunately, members of my family suffer from spinal disease and ongoing research is necessary to help find a cure and improve the value of life. Additionally, living with such an injury often means facing a lifetime of health and care costs, along with the risk of secondary healthcare complications.

The organization I am representing during the marathon, Spinal Research, is the UK's leading medical charity dedicated to the repair and restoration of the spinal cord, and Spinal Research exists to beat paralysis. All breakthroughs through research is a value to everyone worldwide.

It is important to note that Spinal Research does not receive governmental funding; all projects rely on generous donations from supporters like you.

With your help, we can make strides towards a future where debilitation or paralysis is no longer a barrier. I am aiming to raise £1,800 for this vital cause by participating in this marathon on August 31, 2025.

Together, let’s work towards a world where everyone has the chance to live without limitations. Please consider supporting my journey as I run for those who cannot. Join me in making a difference and let’s #CureParalysis!
