In September 2024 I am taking part in the Hospices to Holland bike challenge where I will be biking 280 miles over four days from Eastbourne to Amsterdam to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

in the 20 years I have worked at the hospice I have seen the impact of how donations from different fundraising events have allowed St Wilfrid’s Hospice in enabling people to live well at end of life within the In patient unit and our local community.

I have travelled to Holland on multiple occasions but never thought I would have the physical or emotional strength to do this journey by bike. However with the support of family, friends and fellow Wheelie Tyred Chain Gang riders I am ready to embrace the challenge.

Any donations to help raise funds to continue to strive for excellence in all that St Wilfrid’s Hodpice do and continue to improve end of life care and support for people as well as their families and carers would be greatly appreciated.
