Face Your Fears for MYTIME Young Carers!

Meet Spencer, a young carer of just 7 years of age. Most days, Spencer provides personal care for his mum, administers her injections and dresses her wounds. Over the years, he's also learned how to perform CPR, how to manoeuvre his mother into the recovery position and how to make a lifesaving call for help. He's learned these things the hard way.

Providing care for a loved one is not for the faint-hearted, and young carers demonstrate extraordinary courage, resilience and strength every day. That's why, at MYTIME, were inviting you to face your fears in support of young carers.

Who Are MYTIME??

A young carer is a child, just like any other. The only difference is that young carers are responsible for the care of at least one member of their family, though they may be as young as 5 years old themselves. These children work incredibly hard to take care of their loved ones, yet they represent a largely forgotten community, and often
