Story
I’m raising money for AMA Animal Rescue because of the incredible work they do to save and rehabilitate animals that have faced unimaginable abuse, neglect, and abandonment. As a foster volunteer, I have seen firsthand the difference we make. I currently foster a puppy name Miracle, who was found weighing only 3 pounds, barely alive. Doctors didn’t think he would survive, but with love and care, he’s defied the odds. I'm also fostering Cotton, a senior pup who was covered in tumors and required two major surgeries. Her road to recovery was long but with the right care she healed and has a new lease on life. These are just two examples of the many animals we fight for. I’m running this marathon for them and countless others who deserve a second chance at life.
AMA Animal Rescue is a Brooklyn-based, no-kill animal shelter. AMA's mission has always been to safeguard and rehabilitate animals who have experienced the most severe cases of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
