Story
Hi, my name is Tania. You might know me from Totnes Market and my herbal remedies! I've recently been diagnosed again with breast cancer after being cancer-free for 16 years. I carry the BRCA1 gene and am currently undergoing chemotherapy. In preparation for chemo, I cut and donated my hair to The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
Nothing touches me more deeply than being able to help a child with cancer. I myself am in my 50s, but the thought of a child going through cancer treatment devastates me, so I'd like to reach out to you to help them. All these donations will be given to The Little Princess Trust. Your money will give children the chance to have a real hair wig to boost their confidence, make them smile, and give them a comforting feeling of normality.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
Thank you so much,
love Tania
