Story

My Dog, Bryher, is taking part in The Saint's Way Trek 2024 in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care. Help her to fund the care as she prepares to spend a weekend camping and trekking across Cornwall. Please give what you can and together we can continue to make every day matter.

My Mum was diagnosed with cancer which she lived with for 14 years. I will always be in awe of the staff at Mt Edgcumbe Hospice, it is the most incredible place. I remember days of never-ending compassion, kindness, help, support for all our family, and laughter. I really felt like I was visiting Mum and my friends, and over Mum's last couple of months it felt like sunshine had filtered back into our lives.

Bryher, my dog is doing the walk as she shares the same birthday as Mum and my Mum loved dogs. Bryher is taking me along with her!

Cornwall Hospice Care incorporates Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia's Hospice in Hayle, the only two adult hospices in Cornwall. With only 17% funding from the NHS commission, the rest of our funding comes entirely from the community; from people like you supporting us and taking part in our events, so thank you!
