Story
On 6th July 2024 I will embark on my longest ever sea swim - around the iconic St Michaels Mount in Cornwall. A few years ago I could never have dreamed of doing such a big event, after having meningitis and then subsequently ME/CFS. All those days confined to my home, I dreamed of swimming in the sea.
I have been training hard for it, swimming three times a week in the pool and open water for the past 6 months.
It would mean the world to have your support - as little or as much as you can.
Since a kid I have been a lover of the RNLI, myself and my bro and cousins would stage coffee mornings in my Grans garden to fundraise for the RNLI. They do such amazing work and I am forever in awe of those Lifeboat people who give up their time and risk their lives to save lives at sea.
