In October 2023, our hike leader Iain Taylor sadly passed away. Our hiking group, made up of students from the University of Bradford, and local disabled people will climb Sleive Donard in Iain's memory this summer.

Iain successfully guided the group up Snowdon in Wales, Ben Nevis in Scotland and Scafell Pike in England and it was his dream to guide the group up the four largest peaks in each country in the UK.

This summer our hikers will be joined by Iain's wife Mary and his son Harry who will join us on our hike up Sleive Donard, the tallest mountain in Northern Ireland.
