Story
A group of dedicated renal dietitians, are stepping up for a cause close to our hearts. On the 1st of October, we will embark on a challenging 10km hike to raise funds for Barts health charity.
The funds we raise will go towards a Clinical Research Facility that will drive forward research in our local community, developing treatments to save and improve the lives of patients in East London, and beyond.
That could mean earlier access to life-changing treatments for local people. It could also mean our diverse communities are better represented in this vital research.
This representation matters – it means new treatments can be more tailored and will be more effective for our local population, as well as making a significant contribution for global research, benefitting millions of underrepresented people around the world.
Right now, opportunities for patients in East London to take part in potentially life-saving clinical trials are limited.
With your support, we can work together to bridge the health inequality gap that our patients face and highlight the importance of exercise for both mental and physical health.
The future of healthcare in East London starts here, so please help with a donation to my page.
Thank you.
