Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since 2017, I’ve been involved with the charity bicycle ride.

The charity was set up to provide support to the medical infrastructure in Sri Lanka and other underprivileged communities across the world. In doing so, we hope to not only bring physical, emotional and mental healing, but also unity and peace.

As many of you know, I lost my daughter Gabriella in 2017. Hence, I’ve been passionate about leaving a legacy in her name and assisting other parents enduring the pain of a sick child. I’ve been cycling to raise funds for the Green Memorial Hospital, Manipay, Jaffna specially for the paediatric department.

This year, we are fundraising, by riding a gruelling 475km from the capital Colombo located on the west coast of the island via Anuradhapura one of the major cultural heritage sites and the most evocative place in tropical Asia, to finish at St Luke’s Methodist Mission Hospital, Puttur in the northern Jaffna province.

T4C2025 - Why We Ride?

● St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital Puttur has been identified by Trek4Ceylon as a hospital to renovate and offer medical services.

● The initial commitment is for five years.

● Each year Trek4Ceylon will set-out the project to be implemented using the rider funds / donations

● Trek4Ceylon 2025 funds will be used for the renovation of the main building to offer daily OPD services to adults and children
