Story
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they are moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
They are set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And they are doing it right now. Because they understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
On March 17th 2024 our team of 4 will be taking part in the Rotary Club of Bury St Edmunds charity Swimarathon. We will have 40 minutes to relay swim our 'marathon'.
All sponsorship money raised by us will be sent to the Brain Tumour Charity, a charity strongly supported by one of our team members who after a 22 month journey caring for her husband, who was diagnosed with a GBM4 brain tumour, sadly with their two teenage daughters had to say goodbye when, after a valiant fight, he lost the battle and passed in 2022.
Any support will be gratefully received to help the charity with their research to hopefully in the future spare victims and their loved ones from this cruel disease.
We thank you
