Story
I have been a follower of Boot out Breast Cancer for a number of years, their founder Debbie Dowie, has spoken at my events, Unique Ladies Networking, and I have been a regular attendee, taking a couple of tables of ladies, to their fabulous annual Ladies Lunch. Never did it mean more to me, than in June this year, when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
I now want to give back.
I have decided to take the bull by the horns, and shave of my hair, before chemo takes it, and at the same time, hopefully, raise awareness of the importance of having Mammograms.
My cancer was diagnosed after a routine Mammogram, no lumps or bumps, and no family history!!
Debbie Dowie set up this charity in 2010 after being treated for breast cancer, since then have raised over £1,375,000 which has been invested in diagnostic equipment at various hospitals, to improve the treatment of detecting breast cancer for other ladies.
Please dig deep, and let's make a difference.
Once I have a date confirmed I will share and you can see it happen!
