Story

We are raising money for the amazing charity we work for called Carers of East Lothian (CoEL). Supporting unpaid carers in East Lothian (18 yrs plus), who are caring for a loved one, friend, neighbour or a child (ren). Who have additonal support needs, disabilities, mental health or long or short term health conditions. We offer a variety of supports for unpaid carers in East Lothian. This includes, 1:1 support, support groups, men's group, parent/carer support, benefits support, counselling, legal advice and befriending. Time for me grants and opportunities to give unpaid carers a break from caring, carers assessments , training and wellbeing groups and activities. We also provide post care and bereavement support.

Suzie is a parent/carer support worker, Kirsty is a our administration manager and Lydia is our counselling manager. We have been training to be ready for this years Kilt Walk in Edinburgh on 15 September. We are all very excited and looking forward to the day. It would be fantastic if you could support us on the day and help us raise funds for the vital work by Carers of East Lothian to continue to support unpaid carers.
