Fundraiser for Liverpool Women's Hospital Charity

The Sutcliffe Charity Spring Ball is back for 2025! On the 25th of April at the iconic Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
The money raised on the night for Liverpool Womens Hospital Charity will go on to enhance the care and experience of babies and their families, going above and beyond the standard provision of care offered by the NHS.
How will your donations help?
❤️ Provide a vital life-saving support system - Through funding for a Philips MR Patient Care Portal 5000, we can transform patient care and safety in the MRI suite, ensuring every baby has the attention and care they need. This piece of equipment will scan around 40 babies a year. This number will increase once medical staff are confident and have developed further skills to use for unstable babies too. The cost of the monitor is £12,000 with ongoing costs estimated at 3k
❤️ Accommodation for Neonatal families - The charity funds three “Home from Home” flats at an annual cost of £15,000. These flats provide vital accommodation for families of babies receiving care in the neonatal unit, ensuring they can remain close to their baby during a stressful and uncertain time
❤️ Heartbeat bears - Special keepsake bears contain a recording of each baby’s heartbeat, providing families with a deeply personal and lasting memory of their time on the neonatal unit. Each bear costs approximately £12, and with the neonatal unit caring for around 1,000 babies annually, funding £12,000 would allow us to gift a bear to every baby for an entire year
❤️ Breast milk warmers - Currently, the unit rents nine breast milk warmers at a cost of £25 per unit per month, which amounts to an annual cost of £2,700. By purchasing their own breast milk warmers at a cost of approximately £1,000 per unit plus additional setup costs, they can ensure that this vital equipment is available on a long-term basis without the ongoing rental expense
