This January I am taking part in Run Your Age to raise funds to help Age UK be there for older people with essential advice, support and friendship services when they're needed most.

I'm hitting 60 years young this July so in these first few weeks of my last year of being 59, I plan to walk (and possibly even run a little) to complete 59 miles in total by 31 January.

Please donate to my page and the funds will help with Age UK's mission to ensure that every older person has someone to turn to, whether that is answering calls on their advice line, campaigning harder for older people's rights and fair treatment or providing regular friendship calls to people who are lonely.
