Story
Many of you will know that we lost our lovely Dad, Malcolm, last year, on 16th March.
As he was always an active person who always made the most out of every day, running the Falmouth Half in his memory seemed like a fitting way to mark the first anniversary.
Knowing first hand how stretched the NHS is, and how important good end of life care is, raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care is more important now than ever before. I know Dad would want to support this cause.
“Our purpose is to provide compassionate, specialised end of life care for patients, their families and carers at the time when they need it most. Together with our local community in Cornwall we will continue to make every day matter.
We strive to develop and secure the resources necessary to achieve this, both now and in the future. With only 17% of our funding coming from Cornwall's NHS Commissioners, the rest is raised with the support of the people of Cornwall and beyond - thank you all.”
Thank you
