Story

Hello! I'll be walking 400,000 steps in 40 days to support JDRF.

Type 1 diabetes is a chronic and life altering illness. JDRF funds research to improve treatment, screening, preventative measures and to search for a potential cure.

This is a very personal cause for me. My daughter was diagnosed at 13. Diabetes is a huge and constant burden, advances in treatment technology help to lift that but can't be produced without funding.

Also I'm planning on working in diabetes research in a few years so I'll probably be applying for grants from these guys at some point...

Times are tough and any size of donation is very much appreciated. Thanks for reading x
