Story
Cancer is a bastard - but pancreatic cancer is the biggest bastard of them all.
That's why I am running the Original Marathon for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Right now, half of the people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis.
For my 25th marathon I am running in the footprints of the original runners of the 1908 Olympic Marathon from Windsor to White City - but due to some damn modern road it turns out we are actually running 27.5 miles - so it turns out I am running the extra mile - for John.
In a strange twist of fate we will finish running past the Hammersmith Hospital and ending up near the Westway Sports Centre where John spent so many years bringing sport to the people of North West London.
Please give as generously as you can - thank you.
