Sue's fundraiser for Co Durham & Darlington NHS FT Charity Ward 2 Stroke

The Kingdom of Northumbria Costal Ultra 2025 · 9 March 2025
Hi, my name is Sue, and I am the Ward Manager for the Stroke Unit at University Hospital of North Durham (Ward 2). I’m excited to announce that I’ll be running an ultra marathon—a staggering 54 kilometers (33.5 miles) —to raise vital funds for our unit. This run is not just a personal challenge, but an opportunity to give back to the patients and families who rely on the exceptional care and support we provide. Every donation will go directly toward enhancing services, equipment, and research that help stroke survivors recover and rebuild their lives. Your support means the world to me and to those who benefit from our care. Please consider donating to this important cause and help us continue making a difference!
CDDFT Charity is the official charity for County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. We use your donations to buy medical equipment, support training, innovation, education and much more that wouldn't be available the NHS without charitable funding. The charity works to help enhance patient care and their care experience across eight main hospital sites and in community settings, including in our patients' homes. With your help, we can make a real difference. Thank you
