As a woman, learning how to identify red flags becomes part of your dating life, but nothing prepares you for the moment you didn’t see one coming. The feelings of worthlessness and the belief that you deserve such treatment quickly becomes normal until you realise it isn’t and unfortunately, sometimes that realisation comes too late.

I have chosen to fundraise for Refuge, because I would like to raise awareness about the charity and the support they offer, while also generating funds to sustain their vital services.
