We provide therapeutic ridden/non sessions to Disabled and disadvantaged people

Story

Avon Centre Charity is always looking for ways to support and benefit its RDA participants, aiming to meet an increased range of needs and include more people. Demand for our activities greatly exceeds our current capacity, and we are constantly working on this.

To do this, we really need your help to raise funds.

If you would like to support our riders as well as our non-ridden participants, please donate below. Every little contribution counts. Thank you so much for your support - from everyone at the Avon Centre community !

Further information:

As well as RDA riding, the Centre also provides a range of activities including non-ridden therapeutic and educational Shetland Pony sessions, which are of incredible benefit to those attending.

We are also delighted that 9 of our RDA riders have recently qualified at the Regional competition to go to the National Championships, which will be held in mid-July at Hartpury, Gloucestershire. There are many additional costs involved in making this happen. Whilst the entrants are paying for most of these, we'd like to be able to make access to RDA competitions more accessible by providing a financial subsidy, which we already do for weekly lessons.
