I have chosen this charity as the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Southampton Children’s Hospital saved my great-nephew's life and The Friends of PICU charity have been an amazing support to my niece and her family. Born on the 5th September of this year, my niece's son had to have an 8-hour open-heart surgery when he was just 11 days old and then further surgery this last week. His name is Jack and he's gorgeous!! I would love to raise money so the charity can help other families at such an incredibly difficult time.

This charity helps support the NHS and provides the very best of care to Critically ill Children and their families at the regional Intensive Care Unit at Southampton University Hospital. The unit cares for children from across the South of England and Channel Islands.
