Who We Are:

We, a dedicated team of graduates from Tata Steel UK, are proud to introduce Support for S.L.A.B (Saving Lives, Accepting Blood), a group of 7 committed to making a positive impact in our community.

As part of our graduate community project, our team is completing a 50KM Fundraising Charity Bike Ride across Swansea and Port Talbot on 1st June 2024 at 10am to support the charity Blood Bike Wales, a 100% volunteer-based charity offering vital and free courier service of time-critical items including blood samples, plasma, donated mother’s milk, medication, sepsis samples, and other essential medical supplies.

Why Your Support Matters:

As the cost of living continues to rise, with inflation increasing, essential expenses become more burdensome. We understand that this is a challenge for all, but for a charity like Blood Bikes Wales who rely on donations and volunteers to provide and deliver time-critical items to people in need, it is a real struggle as the charity would not be able to continue helping individuals in need without our support. Along with immense continuous strain on the NHS, the Blood Bikes Charity supports the NHS by delivering items to hospitals, which saves the NHS immense time and money.

We want to raise as much awareness as possible for this charity, as it supports hospitals all around us in time-critical events. We understand times are tough but even £1 can make a significant impact, enabling Blood Bike Wales to swiftly respond to emergency calls.
