Story

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) supports innovation in patient care and helps to make Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals, even better.

In 2023 Addenbrookes diagnosed my unexpected high risk prostate cancer. Their magnificent robot surgery team removed it and saved my life. I am grateful beyond words. I'll have more years with my family and friends, and will see my grandchildren grow up.

I am running the Cambridge Half Marathon 2025 to support this amazing charity. Will you sponsor me?

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
