We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported Chris Helberg and Chris Bryer-Ash in their incredible challenge of running seven marathons in seven days for The Dorset Cancer Care Foundation (DCCF). Together, they covered 183.4 miles across Dorset from Monday, March 10th to Sunday, March 16th, 2025.

The week presented unforeseen challenges, testing their limits and showcasing incredible resilience. On day three, Chris Bryer-Ash faced a setback as a sudden viral infection led to hospitalization, forcing him to withdraw from the event. In an inspiring display of support, Chris Bryer-Ash's family stepped up to complete his portion of the challenge.

Chris Helberg persevered throughout the week, successfully completing all seven marathons and crossing the finish line at Bournemouth Pier on Sunday, March 16th.

Both Chris and Chris were driven by their personal connections to cancer, as their families have been affected by the disease. Their commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer fuelled their determination to undertake and complete this monumental task. The DCCF provides vital financial support to Dorset residents and their families who are experiencing financial hardship due to cancer.

Even though the challenge is complete, any further donations are still greatly appreciated and will directly contribute to the DCCF's mission. The DCCF uses the funds they raise through events, donations, and other activities to provide financial grants to cancer patients and their families in Dorset.
