Sunday League Day is a new concept to promote Sunday League football across the UK, piggybacking on the success of Non-League Day in recent years.

The overall objective of #SundayLeagueDay is simple: to raise the profile of Sunday League football and to get people out of their houses on a Sunday morning to go and watch their local grassroots football team. Getting more people interested and involved in Sunday League football will only help to grow the beautiful game in its purest form, and ultimately increase participation too.

We are keen to bring a charity element to #SLD2024 and encourage clubs, spectators, players and leagues alike to raise money towards a brilliant and relevant cause in Prostate Cancer UK.

With entry to the majority of Sunday League games usually free, through teams playing in public locations, we would love it if spectators attending a game on the day could donate a notional “ticket price” of theirs or the club’s choice to charity.

Let’s raise £1,000 or more for charity and promote Sunday League Football in the process!
