Story

8 members of the St Martin-in-the-Fields Sunday International Group, are about to embark on the annual four-day walk in Chaucer's footsteps from St Martin's along the Pilgrims Way, covering the 74-mile journey to Canterbury Cathedral.

This is a monumental challenge for anyone, and our dedicated team of volunteers, some of whom are currently experiencing street homelessness themselves, will be undertaking the entire journey together to represent the Sunday International Group.

The Sunday International Group provides vital support and community to individuals who are refugees and asylum seekers facing homelessness and with no recourse to public funds. Your generous contribution will make a meaningful impact on their lives.

We are participating in the 'Pilgrimage 2024' walk event on 24-27 May, 2024, with a target fundraising amount of £1,500. Your support will help us provide essential resources and assistance to those in need. Together, let's make a difference and show solidarity with those who are most vulnerable in our community.
