Story
Back on 31st December 2022 my Grandma passed away after suffering a long battle with Dementia. I witnessed the affects of this disease, and the affects it had on not only my Grandma's lifestyle but also my family. I wanted to give back to a charity that helps dementia sufferers across the UK, with vital knowledge/support for families and people affected. This is in memory of not only my Grandma, but all dementia suffers both past and present.
On the 22nd July 2023, I will be attempting to climb the 10 highest mountains in England as fast as possible. I will do this with my two friends James Sunter-Storey and Bryn Catherwood. This will be the most challenging thing I/we have ever done, so really appreciate any support in the build up/during/after this event.
The 10 we will be summiting:
- Scaffell Pike
- Scafell
- Helvellyn
- Skiddaw
- Little Man Skiddaw
- Great Gable
- Cross Fell
- Fairfield
- Blencathra
- Grasmoor
Back story:
In December 2022, I re-watched '14 Peaks' on Netflix after watching it when it first released, and thought it would be cool to do something similar but in the UK, documenting the whole thing with a camera and producing a video to share with the world on YouTube.
At the same time a friend of mine had mentioned doing the National 3 peaks challenge in the UK. As much as i like this idea i kept thinking of what Nims had done, and really wanted to really push the boat out, and take on something similar but in the UK.
I then decided why not do something bigger than this… but instead the 10 highest in England, same style as the 3 peaks, hitting them as fast as possible, documenting the entire thing with cameras.
