Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون

“We belong to Allah and Him we shall return”. (Al-Baqarah, 156)

On the 29th August 2023, our beloved mother returned to her Lord. She was at home in peace surrounded by family.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) once narrated:

“The best form of charity is to give someone water.”

As such, we are raising money to build water wells in Bangladesh as a form of sadaqah jariyah to benefit her in the hereafter.

Having access to clean water is a basic necessity but unfortunately 2 out of 3 people in the world lack access to clean water. People often have to walk several miles to get clean drinkable water.

Building a well benefits communities for several years if not decades. As well as being able to drink the water, it helps with growing crops, better health as well as better infrastructure. Clean water can literally be the difference between life and death.
