Story

It is coming up to the 10 year anniversary of SUEZ’s partnership with Macmillan. Over this period, SUEZ has raised a remarkable £500,000, which is thanks to the generosity of our staff, family, and friends. To mark the 10th anniversary of this special relationship, SUEZ has set a target of raising £101,010. Over the course of the year, SUEZ has arranged a number of events throughout the country in order to achieve this target.

In Kensington & Chelsea, we are holding a number of events (cake sale, football tournament etc.), but the one generating the most interest is the auction between Gary O’Hagan, Regional Manager, and Victor Foster, Senior Operations Manager. The person who generates the most donations in the auction will be required to spend the day sweeping a beat around the busy Earl’s Court area.

In order to assist you with your vote, we have prepared a little resume for each candidate.

Gary O’Hagan

Gary has worked in K&C for many years, but has not worked on Streets or Refuse. He says that he is up for the challenge, but feels that Mouse would be far more productive, as he is always reminding everyone how good he was as a Street Cleansing Operative back in the day.

Victor Foster (aka Mouse)

He started his career in as a Street Cleansing Operative in K&C, and worked his way up the ladder. It is many years since he swept the streets, but he feels that he can still do a good job, although he thinks that it would be good experience for Gary to put his years of non-practical knowledge into practice.

HOW TO VOTE FOR GARY OR MOUSE:

• Donate on our JustGiving page

• In the donation comment box, put the name of the person you want to sweep the beat for the day.
