Story

Myself (Sue) and Bonnie are embarking on a personal challenge to support St Michael's Hospice through a Triple Fundraising Event.

Bonnie and I met through our shared common passion for supporting those in need. I then joined Bonnie working at meals on wheels, a small business in Hereford that serves freshly cooked meals to community members.

The hospice's multi-disciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Social Workers, Chaplains and Counsellors work tirelessly to provide compassionate care and support to patients with terminal illnesses and their families. My Father was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2023 and the hospice has been an invaluable source of comfort and care for him and our family.

The hospice team's dedication to relieving patients' symptoms, controlling their pain, and helping them live well until the end of life is truly inspiring. Myself and my family have witnessed firsthand the incredible work that the hospice does, which is why we are determined to raise funds for this worthy cause.

On Saturday 30th March 2024, we will walk 20 miles from Hay-on-Wye to Hereford before hosting a BBQ and cake event at Henffordd Gardens. And if that wasn't enough of a challenge, on Sunday 31st March 2024 Bonnie will take part in a skydive!

Any donation no matter how big or small will make a difference to this amazing charity.
