Story
Running the London Marathon for an important cause and through that challenge raising money that could truly make a difference has been a lifelong dream. Unfortunately I have had to defer my place in the 2024 London Marathon to 2025 due to injury - but I will absolutely make the starting line next year to deliver my promise to the NSPCC.
There are so many charities so worthy of support, so many that touch our lives, those of our families and the community around us and without our efforts, they cannot do the work that they do.
I chose to run for the NSPCC because I believe in their mission to end child abuse. It was through listening to one of their most inspiring fundraisers, David Tait, that I was moved to take action. His journey and my own work during earlier years in my career with abuse victims have shown me the transformational impact available support can have upon a child's future.
By running this marathon, I hope to raise funds for those children whose lives can be saved and rebuilt, and for those who will be protected because of the work that the NSPCC does. Will you join me in helping support their fight? Any donation you can make would be so very greatly appreciated.
I will also be personally matching any donation made by any parent or associate of Reeds School up to a total of £2,000 (please reference RS in a comment along with your donation) to support this fundraising effort, to the Andrew Reed Foundation https://www.andrewreedfoundation.org/
