Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are raising money for Oscar, towards the cost of his recent operation.

Originally from Cyprus, now with Mayflower Animal Sanctuary. Oscar is fostered by our wonderful ANP Alison, who works hard with him to help Oscar to lead his best life.

Very recently and suddenly Oscar became Paralysed with no warning and couldn’t move his back legs. A very worrying time but after a referral to Paragon Specialist Veterinary Centre Oscar had an MRI scan and it was found he had slipped a disc. Surgery and treatment has cost £7500. He should now eventually get his feeling back and walk again. As you can imagine this has come at a very difficult time and his costs are additional to Mayflowers usual veterinary fees.

Mayflower are fundraising to cover the costs of his operation and we are hoping to raise as much as we can for Oscar. We are running a Raffle and doing a Row-a-Cycle-a-Thon along the length of the River Don. We hope you can support us and Oscar.

Row-a-Cycle-a-Thon

Alongside our Fundraiser raffle, the staff of Dunsville Medical Centre are taking on the River Don to help raise money for doggo Oscars operation costs. We will be Cycling and Rowing the length of the River Don, from source to Goole, on a Rowing machine and Exercise bike at the Medical Centre.

This will be attempted between Mon 3rd April and Thurs 6th April.

Easter raffle – to be drawn Thursday 6th April.

£1 a strip, available from Reception at the Medical Centre. Some fantastic prizes available including an Easter hamper, Dog hamper, Cat Hamper, Wine, Facial vouchers and of course Easter Eggs !

All money from both events will be donated to Mayflower Animal Sanctuary. Thank you so much for any help however small.
