Story

I'm undertaking a personal challenge 'A Dip a Day in October' which means I'll be braving the cold sea water every day regardless of weather conditions to raise much needed funds for Green Cottage Riding for the Disabled Association. As many of you know I volunteer with this community charity and have seen firsthand how horse riding therapy can benefit children with special needs and disabilities.

We need more than £8k per year to keep our operations running, and all funds raised will go towards essential items such as feed and hay for our ponies, vet and farrier fees, and special equipment. For more than 50 years we have enriched the lives of disabled children through horse riding therapy, helping them to achieve personal goals, boosting core strength, confidence and self-esteem. Weekly lessons are only made possible by our amazing team of volunteers and we rely 100% on donations.
