Story

I’m dressing up as Santa for a Christmas ‘dash’ around Worcester Woods Country Park. I’ll be joining a sea of Santa’s that are all taking part to raise vital funds for St Richard’s Hospice 🎅💨

Our 35 year old daughter, Amy Susan Howell, spent 13 nights in St Richard’s Hospice until she died on 5th November,2024. Her 6 year old daughter, Cerys, was happy to visit her in the hospice once or twice every day. Her family and friends were able to visit, sing and play, read, chat and pray too. Cerys's friends played with her in the same room. The fact that Amy had a room in the hospice made a difficult time bearable and all the staff were amazing. I would love other families to have the same chance.

I would be grateful for your support in sponsorship, however much you are able to donate. Each year it costs over £10.2 million to provide free care and support to patients and their loved ones which quite simply would not be possible without the support of our community and beyond.
