Story

Thank you for visiting our page!

Stella Bolger and Karen Champion will be representing the Hospitals and Complex Care Division at the RD Cook-off on 9 April in support of the Barchester Charitable Foundation.

It would be fair to say that neither Stella nor Karen is what you would call an experienced cook as both prefer to out-source that responsibility to their husbands. What they lack in skill, they will make up for with enthusiasm and they are not afraid to go for the sympathy vote!

Both are proud to be part of the Barchester Family RD's charity cook-off which will raise community awareness throughout all of our Barchester homes, encouraging unity and a positive environment for all divisions. By taking part, they will demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility by supporting charitable organisations, as Barchester believes that the goal of this cook-off is to encourage collaboration, teamwork, creativity, and healthy competition in addition to fundraising. They will also be able to demonstrate their (lack of) culinary skills and connect with one another outside of the typical workplace. Overall, it will highlight Barchester Healthcare's commitment to celebrating life and its values.

Stella and Karen really appreciate any support that you are able to give and are ready to face the challenge together!
