We create volunteer-run holidays to give disabled kids a fantastic week away

Story

Anyone who knows me, knows about SuperTroop. This charity is dear to my heart and the work it does - providing exceptional holidays to young people with a learning disability - is both incredible and important.

I wracked my brain for an impressive challenge to make my contribution to SuperTroop September and came up with cycling all the cycle paths in Edinburgh. Sustrans estimates this is 110 miles in total.

This is not so much a physical challenge (I have an ebike) though I will be pedalling every mile of course. But the really impressive part comes from the planning and time involved. The cycle paths in Edinburgh don't really link up to make nice loops - so I'll probably be covering about double that distance as I ride to the end and then... come back the same way! I reckon I'll be out riding at least 3 hours every free weekend day in September.

My daughters are going to accompany me on some of the rides too, so if you won't donate for me, donate for them!
