We were due to take part in this event last February but had to cancel due to the devastating news that my brother Kev had taken his own life. The Ultra fell on the weekend of Kev's funeral so it seems only fitting that we should enter again, but this time raise funds in his memory in support of the Samaritans. We need to raise at least £2,500 to apply for a charity place with the Samaritans in next year's London Marathon and so this event is just the start of a long journey to try and raise those funds. We have also entered the London Marathon ballot. All proceeds from this page will go to the Samaritans irrelevant of whether we gain a place in London.
