I enjoy endurance running as it helps me maintain a healthy body but most importantly it helps me maintain a strong and healthy mind.
Running has helped me build mental resilience and taught me to endure discomfort. I appreciate the time on my own when running and the silence and solitude allows me to have mental clarity.
Mental health is just as essential as your physical health.
To promote and raise awareness on mental health, I am raising funds and supporting Mental Health Foundation by running Worcester Half Marathon 19 May 2024. I aim to finish the race stronger than my last race.
The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health.
With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
