Swansea Skydive for Mencap Cymru · 13 May 2023

A 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump in Swansea on the 26th March 2023. An event to raise vital funds to support work improving the lives of people with a learning disability across Wales.

Story

DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER FORECAST THE SKYDIVE WILL NOW BE SUNDAY 14TH MAY - thank you so much for your continued support!

A massive thank you to all who have supported the wonderful Mencap Cymru - whilst I may not thank you as I dangle from the plane, I know that the fear is worth it - many many thanks!

On Sunday 14th May 2023 (date change), I'll be facing real and significant fears to join the Mencap Cymru team to fly through the clouds from over 10,000 feet and at up to 120mph. A team skydive to raise vital funds for Mencap Cymru's work. I will be joining others passionate about doing more for people with a learning disability.

Across Wales, Mencap Cymru work do fantastic work to improve the lives of the 65,000 people with a learning disability by providing a range of support services, as well as advice and advocacy. Everything they do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, their families and carers.

I’ve done this before, I know how terrifying it is, I vowed I would never do it again……. Please please, if you can possibly spare any donation to make it worthwhile. I REALLY don’t want to do it, so please support my efforts to raise money for such a fabulous cause.

Please also share my page, thank you!
