The Great Tommy Sleep Out 2025 · 1 March 2025 to 31 March 2025 ·

During the month of March, we are challenging you to join The Great Tommy Sleep Out. Sleep outside for one night to fund raise for RBLI and raise awareness for homeless ex-servicemen and women.

Story

March 2024 saw myself and Tony Murray complete several months hard physical training and various events (raffles, collections and football cards), plus the main event of a 132 mile walk from Northallerton to the National Memorial Arboretum, raising more than £20,000 including gift aid.

In march 2025 we will walk from our old RAF basic training unit in Weston-Super-Mare. RAF Locking is now closed but it seems appropriate to walk from there to the National Memorial Arboretum again. 125 miles over 6 days and sleeping out at night along the way. Let's see if I can smash my total of £8,500 and raise more vital funds and awareness for veterans that are experiencing homeless in the UK right now. I know I can count on you again.

With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.

Please help me to raise much needed funds for this incredible cause.
