MK Food Parcel Challenge 2024

Fundraising for MK Food Bank
£780
raised of £250 target
Could you live on basic provisions for 4 days? We are asking Families, business leaders and bloggers to swap their usual tasty treats near Christmas for a week of basic provisions to help raise funds for MK Food Bank in our MK Food Parcel Challenge.

Story

Hello! This December, our family will be spending 4 consecutive days solely living off the contents of a foodbank parcel. This is 20 items of tinned/packet goods to produce 16 meals, along with 1litre of long life Milk, 1 litre of squash and 20 teabags. We will not have any access to store cupboard items, fresh fruit or vegetables, or any meat and bread.

We are mindful that whilst our challenge will last 4 days, for some across our community and throughout the UK, the reality of relying solely on the contents of a food parcel can sadly be a lot longer.

MK Foodbank has supported people across Milton Keynes, and has once again gone an entire year without turning a single request for assistance away.

As we enter a period where most of us will be celebrating Christmas and all the offerings the accompany it, we are asking you to support MK Foodbank by sponsoring us as we complete this challenge. By donating any amount, you will be helping our Foodbank to ensure that at the end of 2025 we can once again say, nobody in need has been turned away.

Thank you in advance.

Best wishes
