Watching the amazing Kevin Sinfield and his great friend Rob Burrow in last years Leeds Marathon, along with the incredible crowds lining the route, inspired me to sign up the following day for this year's Marathon.

I'm not much of a runner,and have never run a Marathon, so I knew I would have to put in a lot of training time. This has been going well, and has given me motivation to get out over the last 12 months although, I know I'll need to mix running and walking to get round.

I have set myself 3 goals:

1) Raise as much as I can for The Rob Burrow MND Centre

2) Finish

3) Under 6 hours
